SERMONS

Moving Forward When God Says So.
Duration:37 mins 47 secs

God loves us so much that He takes time out just for us and it’s ALWAYS for our own good.

Pastor used a few scriptures from Numbers, focusing on the spies of the Promised Land. (How some believed and some did not.)

Points:

1.      Order given by God- Emphasis on God has already told you to go! We must have faith and trust Him when He gives you an order.

God could have just said “Go” but He was gracious enough to show you the place He has already prepared for you. Everything you need

             is already there. Just go.

2.      The Opportunity and Obstacles Reported- Self sees the negative, but God has great opportunities waiting for you, if you would only trust Him. God has given you the command to see if you will follow. God had given the land to His people, but they feared the “giants” so they did not go claim the land. They were then made to wander for 40 years.

3.      The Observation of man BUT the ability of God- If God gives you something to do, do it! Yes. There are giants, but don’t allow sin (giants)  to “cloud” the way. It can be an obstacle and keep you from obeying God.

He reminded us that “self” gets in the way and when we do what “self” wants to do, we have already lost the battle.

He concluded with asking us to ask God to give us strength and  I add, courage to go when God say go.

One other thing that stuck out with me is him saying, “I was ALMOST persuaded”. Oh my Lord. I don’t want to be guilty of staying when God says go! ALMOST persuaded? Wow.

I said, “Lord Have Mercy! If I hadn’t already left, I would go now!” That message from the Lord was loud and clear.

To God be the Glory for the things He has done!
